At Botshabelo's Babies Home, we are dedicated to providing love, care, and a bright future for abandoned and vulnerable babies. Our Babies Home is a place of hope and healing, where little ones receive 24/7 care, medical support, and developmental stimulation to help them thrive. But we can't do it alone!


Our Golf Day is a vital fundraiser that helps us cover essential costs like medical care, therapy, nutritious meals, and education. By joining us on the green, you’re not just playing a round of golf - you’re changing lives, one swing at a time. 


This event is an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic day of golf with a purpose! It’s a time to have fun and be generous on one day - you will be supporting a worthy cause. Botshabelo celebrates 25 years this year after opening its doors to the first baby in March 2000!

⚪ Donate towards our Adopt a Cot initiative - your contribution is tax-deductible and 18A certificates can be organised by Botshabelo.

⚪ Sponsor a hole for R9000 - this sponsorship will cover bedding, clothing, nappies, food, and caregiver expenses for a child for three months. Longer-term sponsorships are also welcome.

  • Can non-golfers attend the event?
    Absolutely! You can join us for the prize-giving ceremony, enjoy a meal, or support through sponsorship and donations.
  • When and where is the Golf Day taking place?
    30 May 2025 Kyalami Country Club
  • Are donations tax-deductible?
    Yes! We issue Section 18A tax certificates for all qualifying donations.
  • What happens if there is bad weather?
    We will monitor the weather closely. If the event is postponed, we will notify participants via email and social media.
  • How many players are allowed per team?
    Each team consists of four players in a fourball format.
  • How can my company sponsor a hole or be involved?
    We have multiple sponsorship opportunities, including: Hole sponsorships (branding and activations) Prize sponsorships Corporate team packages Direct donations For details, email us at office@botshabelo.co.za.
  • How does my participation help the babies at Botshabelo?
    All proceeds go directly to our Adopt a Cot initiative, ensuring that our babies receive the best care, love, and medical attention.
  • Will there be any fun challenges?
    Yes! Look out for our Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin challenges, plus a few fun surprises
  • Can I register as an individual, or do I need a team?
    Both options are available! You can register solo, and we will place you in a team, or you can enter as a fourball with friends or colleagues.
  • Can I donate even if I can't attend?
    Yes! Donations can be made by clicking the 'Donate' button above.
  • What are the sponsorship packages available?
    Sponsorship packages start from [Insert Price]. Contact us for a full breakdown.
  • What is the tournament format?
    We will be plaving a fourball alliance, two scores to count, ensuring a fun and competitive experience for all skill levels.
  • Are there prizes for the winners?
    Yes! There will be amazing prizes for the winning teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, and more.
  • Is there a handicap requirement?
    Handicaps are encouraged but not required. Players without handicaps will play off a maximum handicap of 22.
  • What is included in my entry fee?
    Your entry includes: A round of golf at a top-class course Golf cart rental (For the first 20 fourballs registered) Halfway house and dinner Exciting prizes and giveaways The chance to make a difference in a child's life!
  • Is there a dress code?
    Yes, standard golf attire applies: Collared shirts Golf shorts/pants Golf shoes (soft spikes preferred) No jeans, t-shirts, or flip-flops
