Toddler returns to his family!

On Monday, little Thabiso left for Zimbabwe with his aunt to return to his maternal family. His aunt has been saving to return home and she spent a few days visiting with him before setting off on a bus journey home. He will be introduced to his granny, who is anxious to meet him, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and possibly even some siblings! Although he has only been with us for a short 4 months, he has already crept into everyone’s hearts but we trust that God will continue to watch over him and that he will impact his community as he grows older.

Update: Thabiso's aunt returned to SA and reported back that Thabiso is doing well with his granny. She brought a photo which showed that he is certainly well nourished with such chubby cheeks and he had grown from a baby into a real "little boy". We were delighted to get this feedback and to see that he was looking so well.
