BIG Breakthroughs in Forever Families!

Our prayer for the Babies Home has always been to see our children in families, however we have found ourselves in a situation where many of the children in our care have been with us for over two years. At the beginning of the year we decided to wait on God for a new way of doing things, trusting Him to place our children in families. As always God is faithful and we believe that we are seeing the beginning of breakthrough for the Babies Home and for the children in our care.

One of the little boys in our care was abandoned behind a fast foods caravan, he was brought to us very delayed in his development. We began to give him Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and he definitely started to grow and develop. He was made available for adoption and we trusted that God would send us a family who would be prepared to continue with his special needs. Within in a few weeks he was matched to a family who already have an adopted son from Colombia. This is the information we got from the social worker overseeing the adoption:
“I really believe God’s hand was in this match as this family was actually matched with another child who suddenly became unavailable. In the meantime the proposal for your baby as a special needs child was sent out and this couple responded.”

God’s heart is always to see our children in families.

Another area of breakthrough that we are experiencing is in the area of foster care. Two of our children will be moving into homes to live with families who have opened their hearts to these children as foster children. We are truly grateful to God and these families who are so willing to love these children in such a selfless way.

We are trusting that it won’t be long before all our children are in families either as foster children or adopted.
