Sam* – a Babies Home story

Sam* joined us as a prem baby, only a few weeks old. As a tiny chappy of only 1.68kg, he has spent much of his first weeks here sleeping and eating. After 3 weeks with us, he had grown to 3.09kg!

What a transformation! Growing big, strong, and feeding so well. We loved watching him enter this new stage where he started to smile more, becoming more alert each week. Happy in his routine, he was eager for every mealtime!

Through the winter, Sam* struggled with a chest infection. Day in and out, the caregivers rubbed on ointment, refilled humidifiers, and doled out medicine and care. His visit to the doctor in August was VERY encouraging. Although, Sam* came into our world as a very tiny, prem baby, he entered our doors with the opportunity for a rebuilt foundation.

Recovered from his illness, and meeting all his milestones on time, the doctor-declared him strong and approved for adoption. In the spring, he stepped into a new adventure with his Forever Family!
